It is the goal of the Butte Soil and Water Conservation supervisors to set high standards for conservation and wise use of the natural resources in the district.

Conservation districts are subdivisions of state government charged with the conservation of soil, water and related natural resources on Idaho's private land.  The Butte Soil and Water Conservation District is one of 51 conservation districts in Idaho, which together encompass ninety-nine percent of our state.

Butte Soil and Water Conservation Supervisors meet each month on the 3rd Thursday in the USDA conference room at 125 South Water in Arco, Idaho.
